Team Avatar Prerelease Event

Team Avatar is back! The action, adventure, and spirit of Avatar: The Last Airbender awaken in Magic: The Gathering. Master new mechanics Earthbending, Airbending, Waterbending, and Firebending to tell your version of the story and discover your Magic playstyle. Bend the elements. Master the game.

What’s in a Prerelease Kit?

Each prerelease kit includes:

  • 5 Play Boosters
  • 1 13-card character-aligned booster
  • Aang Booster (White) – Depending on your choice of Prerelease Kit
  • Katara Booster (Blue) – Depending on your choice of Prerelease Kit
  • Azula Booster (Black) – Depending on your choice of Prerelease Kit
  • Zuko Booster (Red) – Depending on your choice of Prerelease Kit
  • Toph Booster (Green) – Depending on your choice of Prerelease Kit
  • 1 traditional foil rare or mythic rare with a year stamp
  • 2 double-faced tokens
  • A Spindown™ life counter matching the color of the Prerelease Pack

Play Booster Contents

Each Play Booster may contain these cards:

  • 14 Magic: The Gathering cards
  • Play Boosters may contain cards: TLA 1–358; TLE 1–61
  • 1–4 cards of rarity rare or higher (2: 27%; 3: 2%; 4: <1%)
  • 3–5 uncommon cards
  • 6–9 common cards
  • 1 land card (replaced by traditional foil land in 20% of boosters)
  • 1 card of any rarity is traditional foil
  • Foil borderless mythic rare in <1% of boosters

Format

With your prerelease kit, build a minimum 40-card deck and compete in a Swiss tournament.
