Introduction
An Adventure in Mid-Michigan will be a 3 round event played at 750 points.
Scenarios will be selected from random pools on the day of the event.
Players must sign up and submit their list on Longshanks in order to be
allowed to play: Lansing GLHL Event • Event 35427 • Longshanks . We will
follow list-building restrictions in the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game
Rules Manual (2024), Armies of the Lord of the Rings (2024), the Armies of
the Hobbit (2024), Armies of Middle-Earth (2025), the Matched Play Guide
(2025), and the Good and Evil Legacies PDFs (2025). This will be the 7th
Great Lakes Hobbit League event for 2026.

Event Details
The event costs $15. Please call AFK Games at (517) 694-7328 to pay, or
pay the store the day of the event. Any questions or concerns, please

Lists are due July 16th, 2026.

This is a GLHL qualifying event. This event will qualify players to be able
to win the GLHL for the year! The win conditions will be W/L/D with tie
breaking conditions of:
1st VPS Victory Points scored
2nd VPA Victory Points allowed
3rd SOS Strength of schedule (Average opponent TP)

The Artisan Award will be for the best hero of the highest tier in your list!
These must be model(s) from your army list. This award will be decided
by player voting and judge voting. All models within your army lists must
be painted and based by you in order to qualify for this award.

Additional Rules
Scenarios will be chosen from random pools at the start of each round.

Schedule:
Each round will be 2 hours. The round will end after 2 hours and dice must
be down.

Clean Up and Awards 5:00 – 5:30 Celebrate the day!

Awards:
1) Best Tactician: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (This award goes on to the GLHL
rankings) [Player that scores the highest with gaming points]
2) Best Artisan: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (This award goes on to the GLHL
rankings) [Player that scores the highest with the Hobby Scoring]
3) Door Prizes! Raffle Prizes!
