Join us for our release event, featuring two separate ways to play:

Matched Play Tournament – A structured event with Swiss rounds and rankings.

Casual Open Play – A relaxed format where you can play at your own pace.

💰 Entry Fee: $40 (same for both events)
🏆 Prizes: Each event has its own prize pool, with a total value greater than the entry fee.

Casual Open Play

This event is perfect for players who want to enjoy the new set without the pressure of a structured tournament. Play as much or as little as you like!

🔹 What You Get with Entry:

• Archazia’s Island Starter Deck (60 cards) – includes 1 sealed booster pack of Azurite Seas
• 3 additional Archazia’s Island booster packs

🔹 How It Works:

• No assigned pairings—simply find other participants and play at your own pace.
• Explore the new cards freely, whether playing or just checking them out.
• Prize Drawing: At the end of the event, every player’s name will be entered into a random drawing. Players will take turns picking from the prize pool in the order their name is drawn.

Matched Play Tournament

All players start with a starter deck and one booster pack. Before the event begins, you’ll have 10 minutes to modify your deck using cards from your booster pack.

🔹 Tournament Rules:

• Swiss Format – 3 Rounds (Everyone plays all rounds)
• Best-of-two games per match
• Pairings handled through Melee (official tournament software)
• Between rounds, you may further modify your deck using the cards you opened (no extra time provided).

🔹 Prizes:

• Awarded to the top 50% of players based on performance.
• Prize pool has both a higher floor and lower ceiling compared to other formats.
