Entry Information

    • Entry Fee:
      • $120 per team ($40 per player)
    • Registration:
      • Teams must register by May 2nd, at 11:00 AM.
      • Ensure all team members submit their decklists prior to May 2nd, at 11:30 AM.
  • Participation:
    • Each player will receive 3 Booster Packs (Random Sets) and 3 random tournament packs for entering the event, these will be a mix of current, and older tournament packs we have in inventory.
    • We will have non marked versions of the playmats for sale at the event as well. 

Tournament Format

  • Format: OP-15
    • Offline Play
    • Three-Player Teams
    • Constructed Decks
    • Deck Lists Required: Submit via Google Form
  • Match Structure:
    • Qualifying Matches: Best-of-One
      • Match Duration: 30 minutes
      • Overtime: 5 minutes
    • Top Cut: Best-of-Three
      • Match Duration: 60 Minutes
      • Overtime: 5 minutes
      • Top Cut based on attendance
  • Victory Points System:
    • Team Victory Points:
      • 1 Victory Point:
        • 3 Wins, 0 Losses
        • OR
        • 2 Wins, 1 Loss
      • 0 Victory Points:
        • 1 Win, 2 Losses
        • OR
        • 0 Wins, 3 Losses
  • Match Victory Determination:
    • If 2 or more team members win their individual matches, the team earns 1 Victory Point.

 

3v3 Rules

General Rules

1. Unique Leaders

  • Team members may not use the same leader. Each player on a team must have a unique leader.

2. Team Coordination

  • One player from each team will be added to TCG+.
  • This designated player is responsible for:
    • Communicating pairings.
    • Relaying other relevant information to their teammates.

3. Designated Numbers

  • Each team member is assigned a designated number:
    • For example: Player 1, Player 2, Player 3.
  • Players will compete against opponents with the same number:
    • For example: Player 2 from Team A will face Player 2 from Team B.

4. Communication Restrictions

  • Players can discuss strategies or match progress only with teammates sitting directly next to them.
  • Communication is not allowed between players who are two seats apart.

5. Match Victory

  • A team wins the match when two or more team members win their individual games.
  • The first team to achieve 2 individual game wins is declared the match winner.

    • The event will begin promptly after the Player’s Meeting.

Important Notes

  • Attendance:
    • Minimum Prizes are guaranteed no matter the number of teams.
    • Scaling occurs at any number of teams above 24+ teams with respective prizes.
  • Leaders:
    • Ensure unique leaders for each team member to comply with tournament rules.
  • Communication:
    • Only adjacent teammates can communicate during matches, maintaining fair play.
