AFK Games is hosting a 1000-point random team tournament on April 1st.

Tournament Format

• Rounds – 2
• Round time – 2 hours & 45 minutes (15 minutes to talk with your random teammate and discuss the start of the game procedure with your opponents.
  • During the 15 minutes, you will choose 3 secondaries from only the general pool and only one per category. 
    • No faction secondaries
  • Dice down at end of time
  • Add up scores to the current round only.
• Format – Swiss
• Missions will be chosen and announced at the start of each round, from Arks of Omen.
• Teams will share a Command Point pool.
  • Each team starts with 6 CP, regardless of CP spent during list building.
• Teams will be randomly paired before each round.

Army Selection

• Each player will bring a 1000-point army. The army must follow all normal restrictions for Arks of Omen detachments.
• Only armies from current Codices or officially approved White Dwarf articles may be taken
• Players must use the same army and list for the entire event.

WYSIWYG Models

All models must accurately represent the appropriate army selection so that your opponent can clearly tell what the unit is and how it is equipped without being told. Models must be correctly modeled. 

• Forge World models are allowed.
• Lords of War are not allowed unless specified by the event.
  • With the exception, if you are using Imperial Knights or Chaos Knights.
• No legends

Painting and Basing

• All models must be based on their current base size.
• Painting is not required.

Player Responsibilities

• A current Warhammer 40,000 rulebook
• Current Codex for your army.
• The most currently published rules for all units represented in their army.
• All materials needed to play a game/report the results – including:
  • Dice
  • Measuring device

Players are also responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate, sportsmanlike manner.

Prizes

Prizes will be a raffle! Players can get tickets for the following:

• Fully painted army
• Playing a game
• Winning a game
• Being prepared to play 15 minutes before the start, without assistance.

Each player on the team will get tickets for playing a game & winning a game.
