If it’s limited you are allowed to sideboard.\nPlayers may communicate freely with each other. Each player can see all information their teammate has\, such as cards in hand and facedown cards. Strategy discussions should be done in a brief\, timely manner.\nAt a 2HG prerelease each team gets two prerelease boxes for a total of 12 boosters and 2 promos per team.\nThe players build two 40 card minimum decks from the combined card pool and basic lands. During a match cards not in either players deck can only be accessed by effects that refer to cards outside the game.\n“You” means just that\, you\, not including your teammate. If an effect says “creatures you control get +1/+1” it only applies to your creatures\, not your teammate’s.\nIf an effect refers to “each opponent” it applies to each player on the opposing team. For example if an effect causes each opponent to lose 1 life each player on that team loses 1 life and that team’s life total is reduced by 2\, doubly good!\nIf a player would skip or get an extra step\, phase\, or turn\, that player’s team skips or gets one instead.\nIf a trigger says “at the beginning of phase/step on your turn” (such as God-Pharaoh’s Gift) there is only one of that step each turn so it will trigger once.\nIf a trigger says “each player’s phase/step” (such as Howling Mine) or “each opponent’s phase/step” (such as Luminarch Ascension it will trigger once for each player in that step\, so twice in 2HG.\nPlayers on a team win or lose together. If an effect says a player loses the game that player’s team loses the game\, the other head can’t continue playing on their own. A team on 0 or less life or that has 15 or more poison counters loses the game.

DESCRIPTION:Tournament Format\nThis event will be a 2-slot Dreamhack RCQ\, which means 1st and 2nd will receive an RCQ invite.  \nWe will be playing Murders at Karlov Manor Swiss rounds\, and then a cut to top-8 draft that will be timed. \nWe will be playing rounds of Swiss as recommended by the tournament rules. DESCRIPTION:Tournament Format\n\nRounds – Based on player count (Page 5 of Premier Showdown Rules)\nRound time – 120 minutes \nFormat – Premier Showdown\nSoftware – Longshanks\nDoors – 11:30 am\nStart – 12:00 pm\nEntry – $10\n\nStandard events will use a 120-minute round timer with Mission Critical* starting at the 90-minute mark. To create a variable game length\, we will roll 5 Attack Dice\, and add one minute to the event round for each critical(B) and strike(A) result. \nIf a game has not concluded when the time for an event round runs out\, the players finish the current Turn and calculate their scores.  \n*Mission Critical rules can be found on page 4 of the Premier Showdown rules packet \nStrike Team Selection\n\nPlayers submit a Premier List of four separate squads and one Mission Set that they will use to build their strike team at the start of each game.\n\nDuring a premier Showdown event\, players must choose each of their squads to be included in their strike team during at least one round of the event.\n\nWhen a player is assigned a bye round\, they choose two squads from their premier list and those squads count as having been played during that round.\n\n\n\n\nEach squad must meet the normal building restrictions detailed in the Shatterpoint Core Rules book. \nAdditionally\, when building their Premier Lists\, players may not include a Unit that shares the same Unique Name or Unit Name with another Unit already in their Premier List. They must apply all special rules applicable to building a strike team across all four of their squads.\nAt the start of each event round\, before determining the first player\, each player builds a strike team by selecting two of the squads they have brought to the event\, along with their chosen Mission Set. \n\nPlayers build their Order Decks in secret and then simultaneously reveal their entire Order Deck to their Opponent.\n\n\n\nPrizes\nStore credit to the top players.

(Example: If we had 16 players\, then there’s four Quads of 4 players. If we have 18 players\, then I would group 6 for a Mini-Swiss & then have 3 Quads). \nTime Control:\nG25d5 \nRounds:\n12-12:30pm: Check-In. No on-site registration.\n12:30pm-1pm: Sections provided to players\, announcements\, etc. \nRound 1: 1pm\nRound 2: 2:15pm\nRound 3 3:30pm \nEach round gives players a 15 min break.
