DESCRIPTION:Full Rules Packet: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WyVsi-PUM15VU6ItOoxz2mqBlhlZsZOZElKSA6_OhPg \nTournament Format\n\nRounds – 3 \nRound time – 90 Minutes + 20 Minutes (explained in “Round Time” )\nFormat – Swiss\nEntry – $30 per team\nDate – Apr 8\, 2023\nRound Time\nThere will be 10 minutes allocated for determining matchups (more on this in the ‘Matchups’ section) and define the battlefield and deployment. After which the standard 90 minutes of game time will commence. Once the 90 minutes are up\, there will be a maximum extension of 10 minutes to finish the current round. Once that 10 minutes expires\, players must stop play immediately and tally victory points to decide the winner. \n  \nPoint value and Format\nEach team will be made up of 3 players\, and each of those players will bring their own 10 unique characters\, 10 unique tactics cards\, and 6 unique crisis cards (3 Secure & 3 Extraction) \n  \nPlease see the section below: ‘Roster selection and rules’ for rules that apply during this event when each player is selecting their roster. \nList Submission\nAll team captains must ensure that their teams are correct and submitted on Longshanks by Midnight on Friday\, March 31st\, 2023. If you are not able to meet this deadline please contact the store with a reason as to why and we will see what we can do.  \nRoster Selection & Rules\n\nTeams will consist of 3 players\, preferably premade\, or the TO will endeavor to make teams with players that do not have a whole Team.\n\n  \nAcross the 3 players that make up a team\, there may be no duplicates of characters\, tactics cards\, or crisis cards. \n  \nFor the matchup process please see the section titled: ‘Matchups’ \n  \n\nTeams will be paired off against each other randomly in the first round and use the “Swiss pairing” system from the 2nd round onwards.\nA team will never be matched against the same team twice.\nTeam Scoring\n\nThe team that gains 2 or more victories from the 3 games in a round is declared the winner and receives 1 “Tournament Point”. The losing team receives 0 points.\n\nEach player that wins their game in a round is awarded a “Player Tournament Point”.\n\n\nThe total “Player Tournament Points” a team has accumulated will be used as the 1st tie-breaker\nEach team’s strength of schedule will be calculated and will be used as the 2nd tie-breaker.\nThe number of Control Points each team earns across all 3 games for a round is also recorded and used as the 3rd tie-breaker.\nThe number of Army Points each team destroys across all 3 games for a round is also recorded and is used as the 4th tie-breaker.\nA team receiving a Bye will get 2 “Player Tournament Points”\, 3 Control Points\, and 60 APD for each player on the team.\nTypically this event is three rounds\, If there are teams tied for first place even after all tie-breakers the teams tied for first will do a best of 3\, 5 dice priority roll-off will determine first place.\n\nMatchups\nThe captains from each team will work together to determine the individual pairings of the players within their teams using the following method. \n  \n\nEach team will have the 3 sheets to represent the three players on the team. Each team (referred to as Team A and Team B) will meet at the set of three tables (Table 1\, Table 2\, and Table 3) they are assigned to.\nTo determine who is Team A and who is Team B\, a priority roll is used once each team is at the table. The winner becomes Team A.\nTeam A will choose one of their players and place their sheet face down on Table 1. Team B will choose one of their players and place their sheet face down on Table 3. \nThe sheets on Table 1 and Table 3 are revealed. \nTeam A will choose one of their remaining players and place them face-down on Table 3 and the last player on Table 2 face-down. Team B will choose one of their remaining players and place them face-down on Table 1 and the last player face-down on Table 2.\nAll remaining sheets are revealed and matches are played as normal.\n\n\n\n
