SUMMARY:40K Random team tournament
DESCRIPTION:AFK Games is hosting a 1000-point random team tournament on April 1st. \nTournament Format\n\nRounds – 2\nRound time – 2 hours & 45 minutes (15 minutes to talk with your random teammate and discuss the start of the game procedure with your opponents.\n\nDuring the 15 minutes\, you will choose 3 secondaries from only the general pool and only one per category. \n\nNo faction secondaries\n\n\nDice down at end of time\nAdd up scores to the current round only.\n\n\nFormat – Swiss\nMissions will be chosen and announced at the start of each round\, from Arks of Omen.\nTeams will share a Command Point pool.\n\nEach team starts with 6 CP\, regardless of CP spent during list building.\n\n\nTeams will be randomly paired before each round.\n\nArmy Selection\n\nEach player will bring a 1000-point army. The army must follow all normal restrictions for Arks of Omen detachments.\nOnly armies from current Codices or officially approved White Dwarf articles may be taken\nPlayers must use the same army and list for the entire event.\n\nWYSIWYG Models\nAll models must accurately represent the appropriate army selection so that your opponent can clearly tell what the unit is and how it is equipped without being told. Models must be correctly modeled.  \n\nForge World models are allowed.\nLords of War are not allowed unless specified by the event.\n\nWith the exception\, if you are using Imperial Knights or Chaos Knights.\n\n\nNo legends\n\nPainting and Basing\n\nAll models must be based on their current base size.\nPainting is not required.\n\nPlayer Responsibilities\n\nA current Warhammer 40\,000 rulebook\nCurrent Codex for your army.\nThe most currently published rules for all units represented in their army.\nAll materials needed to play a game/report the results – including:\n\nDice\nMeasuring device\n\n\n\nPlayers are also responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate\, sportsmanlike manner. \nPrizes\nPrizes will be a raffle! Players can get tickets for the following: \n\n Fully painted army\n Playing a game\n Winning a game\n Being prepared to play 15 minutes before the start\, without assistance.\n\nEach player on the team will get tickets for playing a game & winning a game.
