DESCRIPTION:This year AFK Games will be hosting a White Elephant! If you are not familiar with this style of event\, let us do a quick rundown! \n1). Each player brings one wrapped gift to contribute to a common pool.\n2). Players draw numbers to determine the order in which they go.\n3). Players sit/stand in a circle or line where they can see the gifts.\n4). The first player selects a gift from the pool and opens it.\n5). The following players can choose to either pick an unwrapped gift or steal a previous player’s gift. Anyone who gets their gift stolen in this way can do the same – choose a new gift or steal from someone else. A gift may only be stolen twice.\n6). After all players have had a turn\, the first player gets a chance to swap the gift they are holding for another opened gift. Anyone who had a gift stolen may steal from someone else. Assuming that person has not been stolen from yet. Not required to be purchased from AFK Games\, but it is appreciated.\n Gift can be for Magic: The Gathering\, Miniature Games\, Board Games\, General Geekdom.\n If you are planning on doing something that is not a sealed-in package item\, or you think it may need approval. Please speak to Dan.\n Ages 10+ with sensible maturity\, since gifts may be taken. All participants must be able to handle that.\n Gifts must be appropriate for all audiences.\n Your gift should not be something that will make someone upset or embarrassed to open.\n Participants need to bring a gift to take part in the event.\n Gifts must be wrapped or gift bagged appropriately.\n At sign in\, you will get a color-coded sticker to put on your gift to identify its category from; Magic\, Miniature Games\, Board Games\, General Geekdom\, and RPG.\n\n
